The Salmon Brook Historical Society maintains two facilities: a farmhouse dating to the 1850s that is registered on the National Register of Historical Places and the Aroostook Agricultural Museum, which is housed in a nearby barn.
Together the two museums aim to promote the history of the town and surrounding area with a specific focus on agricultural topics.
